Normality calculator
Calculate normality (eq/L) from equivalents and volume, or from molarity and equivalents per mole.

How to use
Normality
$$N = \frac{n_{\text{eq}}}{V}$$
You can also write N = M × n, where n is equivalents per mole (context-dependent: H⁺ for monoprotic acids, OH⁻ for bases, electrons in redox).
- Always state what an “equivalent” means for your reaction.
- This tool does not guess n—you provide it explicitly.
When to use
- Acid–base titrations where procedures use N and V.
- Converting between M and N when n is known.
