What we collect
- Account data: email address, name (if provided), and authentication details. Passwords are stored hashed; we do not store plaintext passwords.
- OAuth: If you sign in with Google (or another provider), we receive profile information allowed by that provider (such as email and name) according to their terms.
- Learning activity: bookmarks, quiz attempts, optional progress signals, and similar features you use while signed in.
- Technical data: standard server and security logs (e.g. IP address, user agent) for abuse prevention and reliability.
Cookies and sessions
We use cookies (or similar technologies) to keep you signed in and to protect the service. Essential session cookies are required for account features.
If SMTP is configured, we may send transactional email (verification, password reset). We do not sell your email address.
Your choices
When signed in, you can download a copy of data associated with your account and request deletion from your dashboard, subject to safeguards for staff accounts and site integrity.
